GIVING BACK

We’ve made service a central part of our mission. We established the Donald Edward Sullivan Scholarship through the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, Inc., in honor of Keith’s father. It is our way to recognize Don’s tireless work ethic, perseverance, and commitment to education. The fund provides for undergraduate merit scholarships for students enrolled in the Robert. H. Smith School of Business who are interested in business and entrepreneurship and have demonstrated a willingness to work hard.

We also work with Ladies First, an entrepreneurial initiative through the University of Maryland Dingman Center that supports female entrepreneurs. The program’s aim is to increase the number of women involved in entrepreneurship at UMD by tackling the barriers that prevent female students from pursuing entrepreneurship, such as the absence of a peer community, less familiarity with startup terms and concepts, and lack of access to mentors and funding.

Beyond our business philanthropy, we are enthusiastically involved in several local, national and international charities that hold special meaning to us.

We support Lifewater, an international charity that works to bring clean water and improved health to families living in under-developed countries.

Keith serves on the board of the Y of Central Maryland. The Y is a mission-driven, charitable organization in Central Maryland dedicated to developing the full potential of every individual through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.

We are also supporting Autism Speaks, an advocacy group that works on behalf of children with mental health needs and their families as well as Pathfinders for Autism.

We actively support Tunnels to Towers, whose mission is to honor and support military and first responders and their families.
